Illuminated sculptures. Reimagined.
Our philosophy
Our goal is to make unique designer lights and designer lamps affordable while ensuring sustainable, resource-saving production in Germany.
The initial idea was to go into series production with an innovative 3D-printed design. While 3D printing was previously reserved primarily for prototype construction, new printing techniques now enable cost-effective series production of our illuminated sculptures. We are the first German manufacturer to mass-produce 3D-printed objects using the FDM process. Complex and biomorphic structures are possible with this technology, as are taut geometric surfaces for an interesting interplay of light and shadow.
Sustainable biomaterials
We take sustainability seriously and use only renewable and recyclable materials in the production of our illuminated sculptures. We use lignin, a natural material that is 100% biodegradable. The liquid wood is lightweight, stable, rainproof, wipeable, and UV-resistant. We also use the biocompatible plastic PLA, which is derived from natural corn starch, as our printing filament. This is free of petroleum and toxic components and is also biodegradable. We also use the more heat-resistant PETG. This material is recyclable and can be returned to the industrial cycle.
Zero waste in production
Our 3D printing process enables production without waste. Unlike milling or turning, our production method is an additive manufacturing method: It uses exactly as much material as is needed for the respective object. Unlike conventional injection molding processes, no waste is generated during production. Modern 3D printing technology also enables sustainable, resource-efficient production using green electricity and zero emissions.
